Welcome Academics
We believe in the power of ideas. We believe in making independent voices heard. We believe in presenting world-renowned voices addressing important issues and urging people to take action toward pressing political, cultural, and environmental needs. We promise that you'll find stimulating books to engage your students and we hope you will join us in striving to share great ideas with the world.
In addition to our academic search feature, Consortium has launched "Required Reading," an academically focused program that provides free newsletters on selected titles to professors in six subject areas. Each newsletter offers an overview of a single title appropriate for academic use. Newsletters are available in Literature & Poetry; Political Science & History; Gender Studies; Sociology; Asian Studies; and Latin American Studies. We will be adding new subject areas soon, so please check back if you don't see your area of interest listed, or feel free to email us to sign up for future newsletters. Happy Reading!
